Ecostill

The appliance

An ECOSTILL module comes in the form of a thermal insulation EPP (expanded polypropylene) enclosure that contains an evaporation unit and a condensation unit, a simple fan for air circulation and a device for overheating the fluid to be treated. It concentrates effluents while rejecting pure water.

The liquid is concentrated as follows: when part of the water is vaporized from the raw effluent, the pollutants (metals, organic matter...) do not evaporate and therefore get concentrated. As the vapor condensates, clean water is generated.

The technology

MHD Technology is a unique process combining:

• Evaporation at atmospheric pressure functioning at low temperature, entirely composed of plastic parts (PP, HDPE)
• Average power between 6kW (Ecostill 400) and 24kW (Ecostill 1500)
• Power from 9kW to 36 kW
• Thermal consumption from 70 to 120 kWh/m3 of raw wastewater treated
• Production of re-usable distillates and of a concentrate ready for elimination
• Installation dimensions from 4 sqm (Ecostill 400) to 30 sqm (Ecostill 3800), height 2,5m

• Average thermal power equivalent to 9kW per module
